We went to the Family Christmas Eve service at our church at 4:00 then my family came over for dinner and our gift exchange. It was all so much fun! I think we have the most appreciative three year old on the planet. He is always so proud of everything he gets for example he opened one box from my parents and it was a few shirts and he exclaimed all the same "Wow! Look Dad new shirts!" The way he was so proud of everything through the Christmas season made our hearts smile. Sometimes you question your abilities to parent when you go through a rough patch or your kids won't listen but when they pull through with good manners it makes you realize you must be doing something right!
